Applicants are strongly advised to carefully review the following instructions before completing the prescribed application form, which is accessible on the M/s OTS website (https://ots.org.pk/). The advertisement is also accessible on WAPDA’s website (www.wapda.gov.pk).
General Conditions & Guidelines:
- The written test will be administered by M/s OTS, while the interview will be conducted by WAPDA.
- The initial appointment will be subject to a one-year probationary period.
- A general age relaxation of 05 years is already included in the age limit. Additionally, candidates from Scheduled Castes, the Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir are eligible for a 03-year age relaxation.
- Government/WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years of continuous service by the application deadline will be granted a 10-year age relaxation, allowing them to apply up to the age of 55.
- Age will be determined as of 14.07.2023.
- Candidates currently employed by WAPDA should apply through WAPDA HR Division and provide the necessary NOC/permission. The age limit is relaxed up to 40 years for non-regular WAPDA employees.
- Government employees should apply through the proper channel and submit the required NOC/permission.
- Educational Certificates/Degrees must be verified from HEC Recognized Universities/Concerned Boards/Institutes.
- Original documents must be presented by candidates during the interview.
- Candidates who have been dismissed or barred from future employment due to disciplinary reasons are not eligible to apply.
- WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
- No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided to candidates for the test/interview.
- Applications with incomplete or incorrect information, or those received after the deadline, will be rejected.
- Any falsified information discovered at any stage, whether during induction or later in service, will lead to termination.
Note: The recruitment process for vacant Officer positions (BPS-17 & 18) advertised by WAPDA on 25.06.2023 in national dailies (Jang & Dawn) under No. PID(L)3705 is canceled.
How to Apply:
- Applicants can visit the M/s OTS website (www.ots.org.pk) for registration and application submission within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
- Candidates are required to pay a test fee of Rs. 200/- to OTS. The test fee can be paid at any branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL using the prescribed Bank Challan form available for download from the website: www.ots.org.pk.
- Applicants must specify the post and office they are applying for.
- Candidates should send the completed prescribed application form, along with attested copies of all educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, relevant documents/experience certificates, two recent passport-size photographs, and the original fee Challan, via courier service/Pakistan Post, to the following address: Manager Operations (WAPDA) Open Testing Service, Office No.1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad.
- OTS will notify candidates via text message regarding roll numbers, test centers, test dates, timings, etc.
- Applications submitted in person or received after the due date will not be considered.
- After applying for a post, applicants are strongly advised to regularly check the Testing Agency’s website: www.ots.org.pk for important announcements (such as procedures for roll number slips, written test schedules, results, etc.) related to the recruitment for the applied positions.
